Being a good communicator is critical if you want to be a high performing leader and is essential for transferring information across stakeholders. This is especially relevant in the health sector when you’re dealing with patients who are often scared and confused, as well as staff who are dealing with multiple critical situations simultaneously. If you are to succeed as a trusted business partner and leader, you’ll need to understand the finer points of how we communicate in personal and professional environments.


This workshop will explore the neuroscience and theories behind how we interact with words body language. Throughout the course you’ll work through interactive activities to create a communication strategy no matter what patient, customer or stakeholder you’re dealing with. You’ll learn how to modify the subtleties of your pitch, tone and speed, as well as how to control what your body language says. By coming along to the course you’ll improve your ability to influence strangers, negotiate with stakeholders and build stronger relationships.


Reading People - Tailoring your style to personality types
